What is Derby and Derbyshire Local Medical Committee?
Derby and Derbyshire Local Medical Committee (DDLMC) is an independent organisation with a statutory obligation to represent the interests of ALL Derbyshire NHS General Practitioners.
We comprise of:
A democratically elected group of grassroots GPs passionate about supporting the diverse interests of local GPs and surgeries.
A highly skilled and trusted operational team supporting and acting on behalf of the committee and providing rapid, responsive, relevant support to all our practices.
What does DDLMC do?
DDLMC’s independence from other organisations means it is free to act as an honest advocate for general practice without any conflicts of interest or political pressure.
Our services make a positive impact on Derbyshire practices and GP’s lives.
Representation
Our committee representatives are taken from across the county and have a range of backgrounds and roles.
Our committee canvases the opinions of local GPs and from this formulates a voice for general practice.
