Signing of GMS/PMS contract variations

We are aware that the 24/25 contract variations are with practices to sign and as with the last few years of imposed contract changes we have had several enquiries in to the office as to whether to sign them or not. This is even more pertinent this year with the BMA now formally in dispute with NHSE over the contract and the collective action being taken by practices. If practices do not return the signed contract variation within the 14 day period then the variation becomes enforced anyway. 

This year, rather than signing the variation practices may choose to ignore the request or to reply to the ICB stating that you will not be signing, on the basis that the contract was imposed, that the BMA is in dispute as a result and the practice is taking collective action in support of that dispute.
